How It Works

STEP 1:

Use THE FUNDRAISER CAMPAIGN WIZARD

  • Introduce yourself; tell us your name, school, major, etc.

  • Create a request for funds. Tell us how much you need and how you plan to use the funds.

  • Your campaign can be submitted in writing or via video. Feel free to add photos.

  • Before your campaign goes live on the My Rich Aunt site, connect a Stripe account so that we know where to send funds💰.

HAIDER - PLEASE ADD A CALL TO ACTION BUTTON THAT TAKES THE STUDENT TO THE FIRST STEP IN THE CAMPAIGN CREATION/PROFILE COMPLETION WIZARD PROCESS.

  • My Rich Aunt will use the National Student Clearinghouse (or a similar verification service) to verify your enrollment.

  • We’ll also review your campaign to make sure it complies with My Rich Aunt’s policies, which you can review here.

Step 2:

MY RICH AUNT will verify your enrollment and review your campaign.

Step 3:

SPREAD THE WORD, GET FUNDED!

  • We’ll notify you when your campaign is live on our site.

  • Share a link to your personal campaign on social media and with your friends and family*** members.

  • Donors pledge support to individual students or donate to the MY RICH AUNT general fund.

  • ***Family members who claim you as a dependent on their federal U.S. tax returns cannot donate to your campaign.
